Ann Watson

Ann brings the passion of a family caregiver to Sage in Home, having helped both her mother and mother-in-law renovate their homes for safety, comfort and ease of use.  She is a “Sandgen” mother, caring for two children and providing support to older family members while working. Prior to becoming CEO of Sage in Home, she worked in the financial services industry for over twenty five years.

Her entrepreneurial spirit and vision helped to shape Sage in Home. She is a Certified Age in Place Specialist (CAPS) and she holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce.  She is a member of the American Society on Aging and the National Kitchen and Bath Association.  In the past, she was a board member of the Nathaniel Dett Chorale and the Word on the Street.

Charles Lennox

With a passion for helping both people and business succeed, Charles has been an executive search consultant working with a range of organizations including global corporations, small enterprises, public organizations, and enterprises in the healthcare segment. Charles’s other roles have been in information technology, training, and as business advisor to entrepreneurs and start-ups. Charles led the family project to renovate his mother’s home for safety, comfort and ease of use.

Charles is a Certified Age in Place Specialist (CAPS) and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC). Charles also holds a BA in history and political science.  He has board leadership experience and is an active advisor in the higher education sector.

Adam Bonesteel

With a passion for websites, Adam has helped to structure and organize the data required to help our users select the exact product features to meet their needs. He takes a leading role in the overall operation and maintenance of our website in addition to assisting in analyzing our technology options. Adam gained experience in Digital Marketing and Website Development through years of experience as a consultant for other firms while in school.

Adam has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Technology Management from Ryerson University, Ted Rogers School of Business and an Advanced Diploma in Information Systems from Seneca College.

Researchers and Interns

Julian Mason-Espin

With a background in marketing, health coaching, and writing, Julian understands the need for clear messaging that both informs and matters. Research is another skill that Julian applies to create factual content that motivates progressive, health-focused, aging-in-place practices. Julian also worked with green tech, insurance, media, and fitness organizations.

Julian holds an MBA with focuses on Strategic Management and Marketing. Julian also holds an MA in English Language and Literature as well as an Honors Bachelor of Arts and Science.

Shirley Bai

Shirley researched, aggregated and reviewed product information, legal information, and market data. These efforts are critical to the product recommendations we make to our readers.

Shirley obtained her law degree in 2013.  Previously, Shirley completed an Honours Bachelor of Science with majors in Psychology and Biology.
